‘Creative for the environment’ Easter holiday week at Werkhaus Potsdam
We are organising a free Easter holiday week on the theme of creativity and sustainability, with a range of art and creative activities for children aged 7 to 12.

Would you like to try your hand at different creative activities and build your own objects for active environmental protection? Then our creative week at Werkhaus Potsdam is just the thing for you! During the holiday week, you can expect pottery, woodwork, forging, sewing and screen printing, as well as a final exhibition of your self-built birdhouses, insect hotels, bird baths, ollas (clay watering aids) and other objects. The craft and construction activities will be supervised by the experienced team at Werkhaus Potsdam. The entire group will be divided into four workshop areas, which you can rotate through.

No prior knowledge is necessary – everyone is welcome! At the end of the week, you can take your homemade environmental protection objects home with you and be proud of what you have created.

First week of the Easter holidays, starting on 30 March 2026, from 9 a.m., full-day programme

Cost

Free of charge, including lunch
The programme is funded by Kultur macht stark (Culture Makes You Strong) from the German Parity Welfare Association (Deutscher Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband - Gesamtverband e.V.).

Important notes

Instructions

The instructions of the supervisors on site must be followed. They assume no liability for personal injury or property damage to participants. In the event of gross misbehaviour, my son / daughter may be excluded from further participation in the workshops. If necessary, my son/daughter must be collected. Inwole e.V. has liability insurance for accidents and other misfortunes that may be caused during the workshops offered.

Catering

Please give your child enough to drink. There is a supermarket on the neighbouring premises. A vegetarian or vegan lunch is included in the programme.

Photo, video and sound recordings

Please sign and return the consent form for the use/publication of photographs with your registration. We need good pictures showing our activities for documentation purposes, especially for our funding organisations. By doing so, you will help us to be able to offer free services in the future.

Clothing & Valuables

We recommend wearing sturdy footwear for the workshop days.
We recommend wearing clothes that can get dirty.
We recommend tying your hair back in the workshops.
We do not accept liability for dirt, damage, or loss of clothing and valuables.
